Listed AllHome Corp. introduced its fourth Mindanao store in General Santos City.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Villar-led home improvement retailer said the 7,600-square-meter store brought its store network to 51 nationwide.
Its branches on the island are in the cities of Cagayan de Oro, Butuan and Koronadal.
The new branch is also AllHome’s 14th large stand-alone store. Its mall-based stores stand at 22; its small specialty stores, 15.
Former Senate President and AllHome Chairman Manuel “Manny” Villar Jr. said his company’s expansion was fueled by its optimism about the market’s recovery this year.
“As we continue to navigate the new normal, we deem it important to reach outside Metro Manila to cater to new markets,” Villar said.
The General Santos City store launch comes more than a month after AllHome opened their specialty store, AllDigital, in Las Piñas City.
AllHome shares dipped by 20 centavos or 2.3 percent to close at P8.50 apiece on Wednesday.
