But with the advanced technology, you would never know that it is actually made of metal. It is also durable, you won’t have to regularly inspect it as it is very low maintenance.
Cons: Compared to regular metal roofing, stone-coated metal roofing may cost you a little more. It is cheaper than clay roofing, but still a little more expensive than regular metal roofing. It mas also needs extra structural support for its weight.
Pros: Polycarbonate is fire-resistant and lightweight. It is made from high-impact polypropylene resin. It is also extremely durable, easy to cut, but can withstand contrasting temperatures while maintaining stability. You may choose from a wide variety of customizable sizes, types, colors, and special finishes like UV protection, corrosive inhibitors, and anti-static.
Cons: One downside to polycarbonate sheets is that they are not scratch resistant and denting or scratching on the surface is possible if extra caution and care are not taken. Although it is more durable than other roofing materials, they have the tendency to crack.
