Listed AllHome Corp. posted a P641-million net income in the January to June, 48-percent stronger than its 2019 first half figure of P434 million.
In a statement over the weekend, the Villar-led home improvement company also reported higher net sales of P6.72 billion in the first half, up 39 percent from P4.85 billion year-on-year.
“This pandemic gave us the opportunity to look at our strategies and implement innovations and initiatives to increase operational efficiency. Those innovations lead to the improvement in our margins as we recalibrate our merchandise mix and implement strategic pricing to enhance returns,” AllHome Chairman Manuel Villar Jr. was quoted as saying.
